Starbucks is no unknown to delivery, thanks to a hand from Postmates. However, the bean-slinging company is taking matters into its own hands with a brand new delivery choice.
The "Green Apron" service is within the testing part inside the Empire State Building in new york town. The concept here is that Starbucks has its own setup within the building and can drop off coffee and food orders in half-hour or less.
Do not expect a full-on retail location where you'll sit and sip in, though, because the kitchen is dedicated to delivery orders. On the surface it should appear to be overkill to own a dedicated Starbucks for one building, however once you factor in the thousands of caffein addicts that job there, it makes lots of sense.
There is a dedicated web site wherever orders are placed and also the client is in a position to specify a gathering spot (the counter, for example) to pick up that PSL. while the service is a trial for currently, the company might expand it to different giant workplace buildings or packed urban areas within the future.
